Amanda L. Deskins, DO, MBA, attended West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia., and received his medical degree in 2006. Then, she served her internship at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (2006-2007), where she also completed her anesthesiology residency (2007-2010).  During her residency, Dr. Deskins was the only non-chief resident to be awarded the Most Outstanding Senior Resident Award. In addition, she completed a Master of Business Administration degree at West Liberty University in West Liberty, West Virginia, in 2020 and was inducted into Alpha Chi National College Honors Society. In addition, Dr. Deskins received board certification in anesthesiology from the American Board of Anesthesiology. As a volunteer, she serves as Chairman of the Board of Arts in Action (2016-present). Prior to medical school, she competed her undergraduate education, i.e., Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry Magna Cum Laude, at Marshall University in Huntington, WV (2002).
